As a kid, I was often found dancing to Michael Jackson or pretending to be my favorite cartoon characters. That sense of play and the desire to supplement reality with imagination fueled my desire to pursue acting as a career. At the age of 11, I auditioned for and got to participate in Baltimore School for the Arts’ TWIGS program for my years as a middle schooler. Two years later, I earned the opportunity to perform a monologue from “The Amen Corner” on Baltimore’s incredible Hippodrome Theatre stage. I knew to continue performing and when I got to be in the ensemble of “Hairspray,”

I learned how much the combined joys of acting, singing, and dancing meant to me. I started taking dance classes, participated in multiple different choirs, and I eventually became inspired to continue pursuing my passions as a college student. I joined Temple University’s BFA Musical Theatre Class of 2024, and my experiences as a student of the arts blossomed. I took classes from incredible professors and took part in some incredible shows that helped me learn a lot about myself as an actor and person.

One of the most important life changes I made during this time was joining an acappella group, Broad Street Line, and learning how to perform and arrange music for singers. I made some great friends, diversified my music knowledge, and even got to arrange and perform music for our EP ‘”Next Stop” – out on all platforms! Now I am continuing to pursue these passions in New York. I am excited for what’s to come and hope that my journey can be an inspiration to other young actors to pursue their dreams!
